Ginger clubmix - Hooly v's Buxey
The Ginger Clubmix, released on 01-10-2010 is a superb production and features Herman The German and The Ginger Jesus. Filmed in Dundee by Hooly and edited by Glenn Millar, it tells the story of one poor
redhead who gets turned away from the local shops on the Perth Road because he is ginger ha ha!
Now before any of the 'pc brigade' get on my case
it's only banter and is what this page on my website is all about
humour!
Hanney: Watch your back
Massive thanks must go to Brian 'Bomber' Harris and his brother Paul for getting me involved with Hanney to shoot this video promo for Watch Your Back
After meeting up in the Kilspindie Industrial Estate, where we we filmed the opening scene, we soon headed in Shabba's motor to various locations around
Dundee as PC Plum tries all day to catch up with and arrest a young graffiti artist known as MDMA who has been caught red handed.
These 2 brothers along with the other lads in the band made me feel very weclome and just let me and the young whipper snapper with the spray can act on spec!
We all had such a laugh filming this video for Hanney and I feel it deserves its rightful place in HOOLYWOOD which was filmed entirely on location in
and around Dundee in June 2007.
The View: The making of
Superstar Tradesman
"Oi Hooly, do you fancy an all day session in Dryburgh for the making of Superstar Tradesman" was the shout from within.
This magical video of Dundee band The View was filmed on a hot sunny day in 2007 in front of their friends, family and a few locals from the Lochee area
Me and my son Lloyd were cleaning windows in Menzieshill at the time so we downed tools, jumped on my scooter and travelled 28 seconds up the road
to Dryburgh at 10:07am
Why did I dress up as the No Smoking Warden you may ask? Well I will leave that up to you to decide, answers on a post card please to

Stuck indoors, emigrated or left dundee?
If you still live in Dundee, moved away years ago or emigrated to a warmer country and would like to know what the Dundee Music Scene is like these days,
then look no further than hoolywoodproductions.com
Having been through and survived the infamous Punk explosion during the 70's, the Ska 2-Tone
movement in the 80's, the Indie scene and the half-baked Rave scene in the 90's, I can now give you one mans account of what
I have witnessed during these years.
Some people move on as they grow old but I'm still going strong to the present day (aged 46) in 2010.
I now go around the town with my video camera and try to capture some of the talent on show whenever possible. This is only my account of
how I have witnessed a major upsurge in the musical talent that has given the fun loving people of Dundee something to be proud of.
HOOLYWOOD PRODUCTIONS helps to promote local bands and DJ's and is now one of the main driving forces behind the ever growing Dundee Music Scene.
A mixed selection with a Dundee connection - ENJOY!!

Take these 3 local favourites of mine who I have had the pleasure of watching and sharing a few beers with on many occasions
THE VIEW are definitely on fire and have achieved major success around the world since bursting onto the scene in late 2006.
In 2007 they released their debut album 'Hats Off To The Buskers' which went straight to number 1 in the music charts in the UK
Two years later in Feb 2009, their much acclaimed 2nd album titled 'Which Bitch' is released
and pops straight in at No4,
not bad for 4 young lads from Dryburgh eh!!!
Check them out on their website here:
